It’s time… vaccinations are done, scholarship received, suitcases about to be full… and soon I’ll be off to South Africa, a cat-mission of some different kind this time. No usable internet, no cell phone/radio/tv reception… quite a horror for someone whose day usually starts with reading the newspapers online and ends after a quick e-mail check.
But there will be wild cats, hot summer sun and the starry southern sky. At least the last ones sound like holidays, right? ;-)
When I was a little girl, I dreamed of being a behaviourist one day. Honestly, who didn’t? Back then we only had local tv and the tuesday evenings were reserved for the broadcasted animal documentaries.
Still it was really unthinkable for me that I really one day will pack my things and fly to South Africa just for doing so. 
Big thanks to all who supported me – and for those who ensure I have no need to worry about my cats while being abroad. The next update will be – followed by some nice photos I hope – at end of february. Shortly thereafter I hope for another joyful event. ;-)

Well, I will try to drop some lines but don’t count on it.
Just realized how spoilt I am with an internet connection being only one click (or one button on the cell phone) away.
